JUNIOR GOLF LESSONS

Dainton Park Golf Club is dedicated to the development of its junior golf programme by providing a safe and fun environment for junior golfers of all ages and abilities. To achieve this the club works together with Regional Development Officers from the English Golf Union, Devon County Golf Union and Golf Foundation, as well as with parents and children, to promote:

1. Professional and ethical values
2. Inclusive and equitable practises
3. Professional coaching and continuous development
    

In recognition of our efforts, Dainton Park was recently awarded 'Golfmark', which is a national accreditation scheme identifing junior and beginner friendly golf facilities. For details of what Golfmark offers, click on the opposite link.

Mike Cayless, our PGA qualified teaching professional, offers free coaching for all junior members on a Monday evening from 6-7pm. Classes are typically split into groups of 10-15 children of similar ability, and activities cover all aspects of the game, as well as basic course etiquette and rules knowledge. Coaching is also available for non-members on Saturday mornings at a cost of £4 per child per session.

Membership Fees are structured according to age, and please note there is no joining fee for new junior members, and very few playing restrictions.
