Whether or not you are a golfer, Dainton Park restaurant is open to everyone.

With a large open air terrace in front of the clubhouse and a huge bay window at one end of the dining room, you can always enjoy great views over the golf course. Who said golf is not a spectator sport?!

Bar snacks are available in the lounge and on the terrace from 9am onwards, including our famous fried breakfast, sandwiches, freshly baked baguettes and light lunches. During the week we serve a hot luncheon buffet in the restaurant from 12 til 2pm, when our chefs prepare a variety of local delicacies as well as some firm favourites. The menu changes daily, but a typically:

Hot Luncheon Buffet

Shoulder of Lamb, braised in a Tomato & Mint Sauce
Pork Loin, cooked with Leeks, Cider & Apples
Darne of Salmon, topped with Herb & Cheese Crust
Venison Casserole, with Juniper Berries & Redcurrents
Lamb's Liver, Bacon & Oinions
Steak & Mushroom Pie
 
Main dishes are always served with fresh seasonable country vegetables and followed by a selection of homemade desserts. 
 

Sunday Carvery

Every Sunday our chefs serve a traditional roast carvery. All our meats are locally sourced so the menu may vary slightly from week to week, but generally we can offer Hand Tied Legs of Lamb or Honey Roast Ham, Topside of Beef, Loin of Pork and Breast of Turkey, again served with at least eight different vegetables and followed by some glorious desserts!

Due to the popularity of the restaurant at lunchtime it is advisable to book well in advance, especially on Sundays. We do have two sittings for the Carvery, so we will normally be able to accommodate you, but please do call to avoid disappointment.
