Dainton Park is growing. In 1993 we opened an 18-hole golf course, with a small clubhouse kitchen serving bar snacks. In 2005 we added The Oak Room Restaurant, which now also caters for general public, private functions, weddings and gala dinners. At the same tme we built a gym, with a separate membership, and subsequently we have added a dedicated business/conference suite.

The club has built a loyal customer base and a solid reputation in the local community. We have a fantastic team of green keepers, golf professionals, catering staff, personal training instructors and office workers, who all treat the business as their own.

Chef de Partie

The Role

We are seeking a passionate chef to join our catering team, preparing a variety of bar snacks, buffet menus and ‘a la carte’ dishes. The role is full time flexible hours, rarely requiring split shifts, but your own transport is essential. Salary is £17-19k depending on experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist the Head and Sous Chefs to produce, prepare and present top quality dishes;
  • Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation;
  • Demonstrate and maintain awareness of all menu items, their recopies, methods of production and presentation standards;
  • Follow good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products;
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, and report malfunctions;
  • Carry out any other duties as required by management.

Front of House

The Role

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will primarily be responsible for serving customers in our Clubhouse Bar and Oak Room Restaurant. This is a permanent, full time role, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Pay is dependent on experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Cater for club members, visiting golfers, restaurant diners and meeting delegates, striving to exceed customer expectations;
  • Help make occasions such as weddings, private functions and Christmas parties magical and memorable;
  • Ensure the bar and restaurant are presentable at all times, as you would expect them if you were a guest.

What You Offer

  • Previous front of house experience in a similar establishment;
