Weddings and Wakes
The Prime Minister has announced that weddings could restart with no or few restrictions in England from 21st June 2021 at the earliest. This comes after weddings have been banned in the country for weeks except under "exceptional circumstances" during the Coronavirus pandemic.
There was also limited good news for couples planning spring weddings: wedding ceremonies restarted with 6 people from 29th March. Wedding receptions are due to restart with 15 people from 12th April and 30 people from 17th May. These are subject to various rules, which we outline below.
Boris Johnson made clear that the easing of lockdown restrictions will be driven by 'data' rather than 'dates', which means this timeline will be subject to regular review - and could be pushed back.

The Gym re-opened on 12th April! Please email [email protected] to find out more. Capacity is limited to four people per hour, so booking is essential. We continue to increase our cleaning rota and remind all members to clean their equipment before and after use. When we re-open, masks must be worn on arrival and departure, but not while you train.
