Every Saturday morning our Assistant Professional Brad Sercombe coaches budding young golfers here at Dainton Park. The groups have a strong mixture of age and ability, ranging from 5 year old beginners all the way up to 15 year olds who are active members of the club.

Since the reopening of golf, Brad has noticed a sharp rise in the numbers of children starting the sport. He aims to make learning the sport as enjoyable as possible whilst still educating them on rules and etiquette ready for the on course sessions at the end of each term and eventually club membership. 

The course is also reserved exclusively for Brad’s juniors to explore the game on Monday evenings. These sessions are linked to the Golf Access Development Programme. With this they are presented with wrist bands and certificates at set landmarks to track their progress through the sport.
